Seva Sadan students mesmerize the audience with their performance at the NCPA Annual Function

At Seva Sadan, we always endeavor to involve our students in prestigious events, and learning opportunities, and provide them with platforms to showcase their talents. Recently, fifty talented students from standards 5th to 8th showcased their musical flair at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), India’s premier cultural institution, during its Annual Function held on January 22, 2025, at the Tata Theater. It was a day to remember for the students of Seva Sadan English School, as they had the unique opportunity to perform at such a renowned venue.

The students, accompanied by their dedicated music teacher, Mrs. Rama, and three other teachers—Mrs. Kadambari, Mrs. Swati, and Ms. Gauri—participated in a group singing presentation. Their performance displayed not just their vocal talents, but also their ability to work as a cohesive unit. The performance was met with resounding applause from the audience, which included participants from six other schools, making it a truly competitive and exciting event.

Among the students, two, in particular, stood out for their remarkable performance: Naitik and Chinmay, both from Standard 7. The duo received special recognition for their mastery of the Dholki drum, which they played while singing as part of a group song. Their synchronized performance was the highlight of the day, as the audience was captivated by their rhythm and coordination, which earned them praise from the event organizers.

For Seva Sadan’s students, this event was particularly significant as it showcased their hard work and commitment to their musical journey. Every one of them demonstrated a high level of enthusiasm, skill, and dedication. It was clear that all of them and their teachers had put in considerable effort to perfect their craft. Their passion for music was palpable, and it was inspiring to see them shine on such a prestigious stage.
