On the 18th of February, the students of the 7th and 9th standards came together to celebrate Shiv Jayanti with great enthusiasm and creativity. The event, which marks the birth of the legendary warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was filled with learning, art, and history. The students showcased their talent by creating intricate models of forts and stunning drawings, all inspired by the legacy of the great king and his fort-building prowess. They also researched and gathered information about various forts constructed by the ruler who was not only known for his military genius but also for his vision of building a strong and fortified Maharashtra. These forts played a crucial role in his strategy to protect the land and its people.

Our students proudly displayed their models and artwork at an exhibition organized for the occasion. The exhibition featured a wide variety of fort replicas, ranging from the massive Rajgad to the strategic Sindhudurg, each model reflecting the creativity and hard work of the students. Along with the models, the students shared insightful details about the significance and history of these forts.

It was a wonderful way to appreciate the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and the exhibition served as a reminder of the immense contribution he made to the state’s history and culture.
