Seva Sadan Society Marathi Schools
Since 1914, Seva Sadan has been committed to advancing women's education. We began with a Marathi-language Teachers’ Training College for primary school educators, which continues to operate today. Building on this foundation, we established a Marathi Primary School in 1944 and a High School in 1960 to provide quality education to underprivileged girls from the local community. Recognizing the importance of early childhood education, we further expanded our efforts in 2000 by introducing a Pre-Primary Marathi School for children from low-income families.

Making a Difference
Pre-Primary Marathi School
The school recognizes that pre-primary education plays a pivotal role in preparing children emotionally, mentally, socially, and physically for higher education. The school provides a cheerful and happy environment that helps students understand the importance of learning and discipline while being productively engaged. Creative expression is encouraged through art, music, while critical thinking and problem-solving are fostered through puzzles and games. The school aims to provide a well-rounded foundation that instills a love for learning and prepares children for future academic success.
Primary Marathi School
Though the school is aided by the Government we have identified the need to supplement the teaching staff to ensure improved education is imparted which is paid for by the Society. We go beyond the curriculum by offering essential skills like Spoken English and basic computer literacy, especially for Marathi medium students. Our students benefit from digitised classrooms equipped with academic software, along with co-curricular learning through music in collaboration with NCPA and physical education.
High School
Our Marathi Medium High School provides quality education to students from Std. 5 to 10, fostering academic excellence in a supportive and inclusive environment. With a strong foundation in the State Board curriculum, we supplement learning with digital resources, extracurricular activities, and life skills programs.
