At our fully-functioning beauty salon, women get practical training in beauty treatments including facials, threading, manicure, pedicure, waxing, hair styling, nail art, sari draping, and grooming. Many of our students go on to work in neighbourhood beauty parlours or as freelancers.
Every year, nearly 100 women enrol in our sewing course where we teach everything from basic stitching to tailoring intricate designs for women’s apparel and even simple men’s clothing. We have 20 sewing machines for this in-demand course that helps women express their individuality through fashion, either for themselves or by providing tailoring services for other women.
Our baking studio has modern equipment and a professional baker who teaches women how to bake cakes, pies, tarts, quiches, breads, and savouries. The demand for our bakery course, which began in 2014, has grown so much that we now conduct one-day workshops and vacation courses.
